Art at the scrapyard
In de zomer van 2011 heb ik een expositie gemaakt op de autosloop tussen Ouderkerk aan de Amstel en Amsterdam. Maandenlang elke dag van 7:30 tot 18:00 beschilderde ik sloopauto’s die opgestapeld stonden te wachten om ze samen op slechts één dag te tonen aan het publiek.
Gelukkig was het een groot succes, iedereen die op het terrein kwam kreeg een helm op en kwam op de foto. Mensen mochten aanwijzen welke delen ze wilden hebben en die werden terplekke uitgezaagd. Hieronder een verzameling van alle verslagen.
Er is een hoop pers bij geweest, een heleboel publiek en flink wat verkoop, het Amsterdam Museum heeft twee stukken gekocht, de muziek was mooi en de dag was geslaagd.

A Day at the Scrapyard
